Who is Duales Inc.?
    Duales Inc. is a privately owned Canadian Corporation founded in 1994.

How long will it take for the beneficiary to receive the money?

 In capital cities we guarantee a 24 to 48 hour service. If you transfer to a debit card your transfer may take only hours. If you are new to our site and are paying by credit or debit card the registration process may take up to 2 business days to complete depending on how quickly you provide the information to validate your transaction. At times we may require photo ID's, photocopies of your debit card showing signature, utility bills, drivers license or SSN/SIN to ensure validation and security.

          Understanding the “Status” of your Transaction (in your account Menu):

           “New” = You have initiated the transaction and is pending review of your information ;  

           “Sent” = Duales has verified your documentation and has processed your request ; 

 “Completed” = Your beneficiary has the funds in their account or debit card.  

Please note the following lead times:

  • 4 to 48 hours for transfers to debit cards anywhere(Activated or active cards only)
  • 48 hours to 3 days for central station pick up (Not currently available)
  • 24 to 48 hours for wires and banks payments (commercial clients, agents and merchants only)
  • 1 to 3 days for home delivery.

In which currency will the beneficiary receive the funds?
 
The beneficiary will receive the funds in CUC at the rate of 1:00 CUC for every 1.00 USD sent plus fees. Our fees include exchange rates and all in and out charges. Example 100.00 CUC is 100.00 USD plus 24.80 USD Fee for a total of 124.80 USD. If you pay using a credit card instead of a money order your bank may apply an additional premium or exchange rate fee. Is there a cost to get the Debit card?

The Debit card is free. There are no costs for using a Debit card at ATMs, stores, banks and Cadecas.

When you see a Debit card number in your account, 24 to 48 hours after your request, it means your beneficiary’s card has been issued and can be picked up at any of the local offices lited below .

How will I know the funds have been delivered?
    Log in to your account to check the status fo your transaction. The sender will be notified either by email once the transaction is completed by Duales. As a rule    we do not provide receipts from banks. You may also contact us using our toll free number 1-888-781-2822 weekdays during regular business hours. If your are transfering to a debit card you can call 55-4444 while in Cuba.

If I don't have a debit/credit card will I be able to use you services?
    Yes, you can pay using a cashier cheque, money order or bank transfer to Duales Inc. Personal cheques are
    also welcomed but will have to be cleared for Duales to complete the transfer. Please note that personal uncleared cheques
    may take up to a week to clear.
